goodness

So it's been a while...my computer died...came back to life...and then I
had a presentation to work on. Well the presentation went well and all
of the stuff attached to it (practice, research, assembling) is all done.
Now back to the other stuff.

One of the coolest things about this presentation is one of the other
presenters was a guy from Hollywood...this guy created some of my
favorite tv shows when I was an awkward teenager in a small town high
school...his stuff was great. Well...I offered and got to pick him up from
the Dayton airport...it was great! And yes...I am a geek...but a happy
geek...so it matters little.


His flight got delayed and the website (american airlines) failed to
update the arrival time correctly...so I got to spend some quality time
in Dayton...I opened up my itunes to see if I could download some of the
podcasts i listen to and it was a no go....nothing to connect to...but the
funny thing was the Dayton airport taunted me (see image below). Along
with being unable to connect...it changed all the podcast names...


Oh Dayton airport...small small hole in the wall airport...you spit in my
eye and I could do nothing...my only recourse was to blog about it...

the good and the bad

the bad:
haven't been drawing lately.

the good:
presentation at the end of this week talking about video games to fortune
100 ceos, cmos, and alot of other acronyms. should be fun and one of the
other presenters was involved in just about every tv show i loved as a kid.

oh yeah...my computer is back! it wasn't the motherboard...

computer still dead...but we have a stand in!

Dead motherboard

The computer died. Or to be more specific...the motherboard....right
before mother's day...coincidence?...perhaps...

So there's some stuff to put online...but it's stuck on the hard drive which
isn't accessible till today or tomorrow...because you need a motherboard
to access the hard drive...

So in the meantime...here is a text post for your amusement.
