Farmer
Well hello boys and girls!

Wait for it

Farmer
I’m sorry but I didn’t hear you. Can you say hello on the
count of cat? mouse….dog…cat!

Wait for it.

Farmer
Wow…that was much better. Welcome back to the
Farm yard! My name is Farmer Karen and I’m glad
you are back! We have a great time when you are
here! I was just about to wake up the professor….

Phone rings – Get Phone

Farmer
Excuse but I need to answer this….Hello, Farmer
Karen! Okay….yes…well she won’t milk herself …I’ll
be right there. (hangs up) Kids I am so sorry but I
need to milk our cow…she’s about to burst because
she has so much milk! But first I need my milking
stool…where oh where is my milking stool…mmmm

(looks around up and down while the gloves are
obviously right there).

Farmer
Kids have you seen my milking stool? Where?
Over there? Oh I see…thank you…

About to walk off camera.

Farmer
Oh… Professor Clauu is sleeping…would you mind
waking him for me? Thanks! So on the count of cow…
(we’ll see the animals on screen) you’ll need to yell
as loud as you can “WAKE UP PROFESSOR CLAUU!”
….are you ready! Great…wait for the animals to
show up on the screen!…I’ll see you soon!

WAKE UP PROFESSOR CLAUU!

Clauu
MMM…who is this Professor Clauu…wait a minute…
I’m professor Clauu! Who called me …it sounded like
nice children. Could it be that the children have stopped by?

Professor Clauu appears

Clauu
Well….I was correct! The children have stopped by!
Thank you for visiting me. Wait a minute. Where is
Farmer Karen? Have you seen her?

Kid responses…

Clauu
Oh…well…cows don’t milk themselves. Did you know
that milk cows can us give about 8 gallons of milk a day!
That’s a lot of milk! It’s true! And because they give us
so much milk they have to drink a bunch of water. Enough
water to fill up a bathtub EVERY DAY????! That is so
amazing! I would never be able to drink that much water.
Can I tell you about something else that is amazing?

Wait for it

Clauu
Well, God is amazing! He is! Everything about God is
amazing. He is amazing because he made us. He is
amazing because he made everything we see and touch
and feel. He is amazing because he loves us no matter
what. He is amazing because we can pray and talk to him
anytime we want. Amazing amazing amazing!

Farmer comes back on the scene

Hey Professor are you having a good time with the kids?

Clauu
Oh yes…the children are always fun to be around.
We were just talking about how amazing God is.

You’re right. God is amazing!

Clauu
Correct. I am so thankful for all the brilliant things God
does for all of us. Extraordinarily thankful. But how do
you thank someone like God – I mean God is brilliantly
amazing – I can’t just say – hey God thanks!

mmm…I see - you don’t know how to show God that
you’re thankful.

Clauu
Correct

Well…one way to show that you’re thankful is to worship God.

Clauu
Huh? That’s it? Just worship? I’m not sure what you
mean. Is worship when you sit in church?

Farmer
Well it could be sitting in church. But it could also be
singing in church, or while you’re riding your bike. Or it
could be waking up in the morning and thanking God for
a good sleep. Yep. there are all kinds of different ways
to worship. You just have to do it!

Clauu
Worship sounds impossibly too easy. There has to be
something tougher to do to show God how thankful I am.

Farmer
Professor I know it sounds too easy. But I know of a book
that can help explain why we should worship. God gave
us a lot of answers to our questions in this book.

Clauu
A book? You always say that and I always forget what
book you are talking about.

Farmer
Hey kids how about you help the professor out with this.
What book did God give us so we could get answers on
how to live our life?

Wait for it.

Farmer
The Bible! That’s right. The Bible is a great book to find
answers. Professor, do you mind if we hear a story from the Bible?

Clauu
A Bible story sounds great!…can I turn on the farm a
tron so the kids can watch too?

Farmer
Yes please

Hits a button and the roof opens up and a big TV
screen pops out for the story.

Farmer
So professor what do you think?

Clauu
That leprosy sounds pretty awful – quite uncomfortable.
So that’s great that Jesus healed them – absolutely brilliant.

Farmer
Yes that is pretty cool.

Clauu
And one of the guys was so thankful that he came
back and worshiped Jesus

Farmer
Yes. And Jesus appreciated his worship!

Clauu
So what does that have to do with me being thankful to God?

Farmer
Well…just like Jesus loved how the man thanked him
and worshipped him, God loves the worship we give
him when we are thankful.

Clauu
Oh. So anytime I’m thankful to God and I just say
thanks or I can sing worship songs like the ones
we do at church ?

Farmer
Yep. Anything that you do to show God that you are
thankful is a way to worship God!

Clauu
Cool! Well I think I’m going to pray to God right now
and thank him.

Farmer
Great!

Clauu
God thank you so much for being so amazing. I am so
thankful for you. And I want to sing and dance to show
you how thankful I am! Amen.

Farmer
Professor that was a great prayer.

Clauu
Thanks! So now I need to go find some music and
dance to it. But first I need to stretch. …I pulled a claw
last time I sang….fade off
