I've been meeting weekly with two 12 year old girls at work lately...they're
interested in illustrating so we've been walking through the basics of
thumbnails, composition, rough sketches...no erasing...that kind of stuff...it's
been fun...we'll walk through an idea and do our own thing for a while and
then compare...this past week we wrote a descriptive sentence for
one another and then we tried to illustrate it....the one that was written
for me was about Godzilla defending the city from the giant crab...
